A great way to start your Christmas party is to have guests guess how many ornaments are on your tree when they walk into the party.
This is a very easy game to set up and you can give a small prize to the winner if you’d like. Kids and adults both can play this game.

2. Two Truths and a Lie

Add a Christmas twist to this popular ice breaker by setting the theme of “Worst Christmas Gift Ever Received” and have each guest come up with two that are true and one that is a lie.
Can your guests spot which one is real and which one isn’t?

3. Christmas Word Game

Ask your guests to name a Christmas Word that starts with the first letter of their first name.

4. 20 QUESTIONS: CHRISTMAS EDITION

One player, the answerer, picks a Christmas themed object. All other players ask the answerer “Yes” or “No” questions to guess what the object is. If no one guesses correctly after 20 questions, the answerer has won and picks a new object for the next round. If someone guesses correctly they get to pick the object for the next round.

5. The Chocolate Relay Game

Put a bar of chocolate in the fridge for a few hours before playing this game to ensure it’s really hard. You’ll need a big box of outdoor clothes including overcoats, gloves, scarves and hats, and a dice. Put the box of clothes at one end of the room and the bar of chocolate on a plate with a knife and fork at the other end. Everyone gathers at the clothes end of the room and takes turns rolling the dice. The first person to get a six must put on a coat, hat, gloves and scarf and leg it to the other side of the room. There they must try and eat the chocolate with the knife and fork until the next six is rolled, when they must run back and the person who rolled a six has to don the clothes and try and eat the chocolate”¦and so on. Hilarious fun, especially with little people and big gloves!

6. CHRISTMAS MEMORY GAME

Pick eight Christmas images (ex. gift, Santa, snow, etc), draw/print two of each, so you’ll have a total of sixteen cards. Now place cards on the table in a 4×4 layout. Each player gets a chance to pick a card, then try to find the match. When a player finds the match, they keep it, get a point and get to try for another match. Play until someone reaches the predetermined amount of points to win.
